| Our School Chaplain is Fr. Fredrico (Fred) Buttner. Fr. Fred is also the assistant pastor at St. Edmund's Parish. | Mass is celebrated once a month, during the day, for the entire student body and every Wednesday after school. |
Fr. Tim McCarthy's Farewell Mass This year we were sad to say goodbye to Fr. Tim McCarthy as he begins his retirement. Fr. McCarthy spent 16 years at STA and saw the school through many changes. Most recently he saw the addition of a new science wing to the school which opened in 2005. Fr. Tim was also here when the library was opened and a new cafeteria was built. At the Farewell Mass on November 15 there were special Irish hymns sung by the concert choir and presentation to Father Tim for his years of service here. The mass was celebrated by Fr. McCarthy and Fr. Ian Stuart, the bishop's representative to the school. |
