AP Calculus

AP Calculus is a course designed to give students additional preparation for both first and second term university Calculus. Additional topics covered will include more advanced applications of the derivative, applications of integrals, applications of antidifferentiations and numerical approximations to definite integrals. Students will write the AP Calculus exam in May. Successful students may use this exam as credit for first term calculus at university. Since this course integrates additional topics, students must be willing to devote up to one hour per week of classes outside the regular school schedule.
