A Note about Fees:
The high cost of the athletic fees is due to the cost in fees required by Flicka Gymnastics Club. For every two hours spent at Flicka, the cost is over $400. As the cost of gymnastics equipment is exceptional and storage within the school is limited, we must utilize the resources provided by Flicka Gymnastics Club. Flicka has all the professional equipment necessary to train effectively, and each student must pay for their use of the gym. On the days we practice at the school, we will be using our own equipment.
Fundraising:
Fundraising is MANDATORY for EACH team member. We will be participating in 2-3 fundraising initiatives this season to pay for the remainder of the Flicka costs and also to acquire more equipment for the school. Parents are encouraged to assist with fundraising, and will be contacted via email. Fundraising is also a great opportunity for team bonding and acquiring new skills!
Craft Fair:
Gymnasts will be making hand-made cards on Friday, November 4th after school from 3pm-6pm in the MPR. These cards will be sold at the STA’s Craft Fair on Sunday, November 6th from 9am-4pm. Students must be available for a portion of each of these times!
Punctuality:
It is extremely important that gymnasts be punctual for all practices and team events. PLEASE BE ON TIME AND READY TO TRAIN!
